Biography

Sarah-Jane graduated from the University of Brighton and completed her pre-registration at St Bartholemews and the London NHS Trust. She then went on to complete her residency training at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust. Sarah-Jane worked in Australia for two years, firstly as a clinical pharmacist in hepatology and rheumatology in Brisbane and then as Clinical Services Manager in a central Sydney Hosptial. Sarah-Jane returned to the UK and to Guy's and St Thomas as a rotational clinical pharmacist and then took a five year position as the lead for Medical Admissions where she attained a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice and a distinction at MSc level. Encorporated into this role, Sarah-Jane also was responsible for the post-take ward pharmacy team, the clinical audit for general medicine and organising undergraduate training for the London School of Pharmacy and University of Brighton students. After maternity leave, Sarah-Jane joined the JPB as STEP co-ordinator covering sites south of London during 2007-08 and has continued her role as Associate Director.
