Biography

Claire graduated from Nottingham University in 1990 and undertook her pre-registration training at Guy’s Hospital in London. After basic grade training at  the Hammersmith Hospital, she took a general clinical post at Mayday Hospital, Croydon where she completed the diploma in clinical pharmacy practice at the London School of Pharmacy. She then moved to Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust as the Surgical Directorate pharmacist for two years. Following maternity leave, she  returned to Chelsea and Westminter as a Formulary Pharmacist part-time. In 2009, after a career break, Claire worked  in Medicines Information at the Maudsley Hospital. Since September 2010 Claire has worked at Lewisham Hospital, particularly in the anticoagulant clinic.

Claire continues to work at Lewisham Hospital as a clinical pharmacist and is seconded for a one day a week to The School of Pharmacy acting as the Associate Director for South London.
