General Level Practitioners Council
The General Level Practitioner Council was established to allow current participants to provide comments and suggestions on the DipGPP course. Our full purpose is detailed below.
Purpose of Council
- Coordinate and represent the general level practitioner's interests on the PG Dip GPP.
- Act as advocates on issues of student concern, communicate said issues to the JPB programme directors, and work with the JPB to ensure issues are addressed in a mutually satisfactory manner.
- Provide a forum for discussion where practitioners can share ideas.
- Act as an advisory group on issues of self directed learning and learning in the work place.
- To keep the JPB strategic and longer-term plans under review insofar as they relate to general level pharmacists affairs and interests.
The council membership is limited to current PG Dip GPP practitioners, and at least one past practitioner. The council meets quarterly to discuss current issues, and minutes are available via blackboard. Please get in contact with your representative if you'd like to put foward any ideas or comments.
