PG Dip GPP Lead for Work-Based Learning Support
The lead for the the work-based learning support is Barry Jubraj, who is seconded to work for UCL School of Pharmacy two days per week and has worked for us since January 2008. His JPB role involves:
· Supporting training centres in the area of support and development of supervisors
· Co-ordination of DAPs

1. How to register as a supervisor in JPB London
All Educational Supervisor (Practice Tutors) and Practice Supervisor (Educational Facilitators) should register with the JPB. This will allow them access to Blackboard resources and ensure they receive the JPB newsletter and any other important information updates. To register, or to update your details with the JPB, please use the following form:

We suggest that JPB London supervisors undertake the following activities to develop the requisite knowledge and skills over time:

2. Read the articles in the recommended reading list
3. Access supervisor training in JPB London
3. Shared Resources Provided by Individual Training Centres
One of the most helpful aspects of supervisor support is the opportunity for Training Centres to share what they are doing locally. The Blackboard system has a section where Educational Programme Director (Lead Trust Tutors) can offer, and also look, for strategies and tools produced locally to run the Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice programme.
The JPB Lead for Work-based learning reviews and maintains this site to ensure relevance, and many Training Centres have found ideas that are useful to them. Educational Programme Directors are invited to send material that might be helpful for other Training Centres to Barry Jubraj.
